1. Practice Gratitude to Shift Your Focus Instantly

It’s nearly impossible to feel low when you’re in a state of gratitude. When you focus on what you’re thankful for, you naturally move away from frustration, stress, or sadness. Try these quick shifts:

  • Stuck in traffic? Be grateful you have a car.
  • Overwhelmed by housework? Appreciate that you have a safe, warm home.
  • Stressed about work? Remind yourself that your job helps provide for your family.

Starting your day with a gratitude list can also set a positive tone. Simply write down 3-5 things you’re grateful for each morning.
